Teams Showing Interest In Broncos Free Agent LB Nate Irving

Josina Anderson of ESPN reports that that Broncos free agent LB Nate Irving has been generating interest from NFL teams at the Combine, despite the ACL injury he suffered in early November.

Anderson doesn’t offer any specifics in regards to who could be available, but there are a number of teams in need of inside linebacker help including Giants, Rams, Browns, Cardinals, Colts, and Packers.

Because of Irving’s knee injury, the Broncos were forced to place him on season-ending injured reserve.

Irving, 26, has played out his four-year, $2.735 million contract with the Denver Broncos, and will now be an unrestricted free agent in the coming weeks.

In 2014, Irving was limited to appearing in eight games and recording 46 tackles, one sack and a safety. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 22 inside linebacker out of 60 qualifying players.

We have Irving listed as the No. 84 player in our Top 100 Free Agents list.
