Texans Sign LB Tyrell Adams Off 49ers’ Practice Squad

Field Yates of ESPN reports that the Texans have signed LB Tyrell Adams off of the 49ers’ practice squad on Wednesday.

Adams, 26, originally signed on with the Seahawks as an undrafted free agent out of West Georgia back in May of 2015. He had brief stints with the Chiefs, Raiders and Bills before signing a futures contract with the Colts this past February.

The Colts waived Adams with an injury designation coming out of the preseason and eventually cut him with an injury settlement soon after.

The Texans signed him to their practice squad before placing him and he later placed him on injured reserve before cutting him loose in October. He signed on with the 49ers soon after.

In 2018, Adams has appeared in three games for the Texans and recorded two tackles.
