Field Yates of ESPN reports that the Titans claimed TE Jace Amaro off of waivers from the Jets.
Amaro, 24, is a former second-round pick by the Jets of the 2014 NFL Draft. He is entering the second year of his four-year, $4.29 million rookie contract that included $2.45 million guaranteed. He is set to earn a base salary of $810,272 this year to go along with another $1,005,408 for 2017.
He missed all of 2015 after landing on the season-ending injured reserve with a shoulder injury.
In 2014, Amaro appeared in 14 games and caught 38 passes for 345 yards receiving and two touchdowns.
