According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, Tennessee Titans RB Chris Johnson “looks like the Chris Johnson of old. He’s fast, he’s in shape. Looks like he’s primed for a big year.”
This coincides with previous reports in recent weeks. Johnson has apparently changed his approach towards the game this year, following a very underwhelming season in 2011.
Johnson did not finish his runs, and looked very hesitant on cuts last year, but it seems as if Johnson is attempting to prove doubters wrong. Johnson’s performance last season likely suffered from not reporting to camp on time, due to a contract dispute with the team.
