The Tennessee Titans announced Monday that they’ve placed OLB Victor Ochi on waivers.
Ochi, 24, wound up signing on with the Ravens as an undrafted free agent out of Stony Brook back in 2016. He was, unfortunately, cut loose coming out of the preseason as the Ravens’ trimmed their roster down to 53 players.
Ochi had brief stints with the Jets and Chiefs before the Titans signed him to a contract following last year’s draft. He tore his ACL last year and spent the entire 2017 season on the injured reserve list.
In 2016, Ochi appeared in two games and recorded one tackle for the Chiefs.
During his career at Stony Brook, Ochi recorded 135 tackles, 19.5 sacks, 34 tackles for a loss and three forced fumbles over the course of 35 games played.
