- Adam Schefter reports that the Lions receive a 2019 sixth-round pick for Bademosi.
Bademosi, 27, signed on with the Browns as an undrafted free agent out of Stanford back in 2012. He has managed to make their 53-man roster in each of his four years in the NFL and was brought back on a one-year restricted deal. He signed a two-year deal with the Patriots as a free agent in 2016.
He is entering the final year of a two-year, $4.5 million contract that contained $2.9 million guaranteed and is set to earn a base salary of $1.3 million this year.
In 2016, Bademosi appeared in all 16 games for the Lions and recorded 22 total tackles, one interception, and five pass defenses.
