The Minnesota Vikings officially waived G Isame Faciane from their practice squad on Saturday.
The Vikings’ practice squad now consists of:
- RB CJ Ham
- DT Toby Johnson
- WR Moritz Boehringer
- QB Joel Stave
- G Willie Beavers
- TE Kyle Carter
- DE Stephen Weatherly
- DB Tre Roberson
- DB Julian Wilson
We’ll have to see who the Vikings add to their practice squad in the coming days to fill this spot.
Faciane, 25, wound up signing on with the Vikings as an undrafted free agent out of Florida International back in May of 2014. He was unable to make the Vikings’ 53-man roster coming out of the preseason during his rookie year but was later added to the team’s practice squad.
The Vikings elected to bring him back Faciane back on a future/reserve contract back in January before waiving him at the start of the season and later signing him to their practice squad.
Faciane has yet to appear in an NFL game.
