The Arizona Cardinals have signedย DB Justin Bethel to a three-year contract extension worthย $15 million, perย Rand Getlin.
According to Getlin, Bethel’s new contract includesย $9 million guaranteedย and $1.8 million in incentives and escalators.
Bethel, 25, is a formerย sixth round pick pick of the Cardinals back in 2012. Heย was in the final year of his four-year, $2.214 million rookie contractย thatย included a $114,224 signing bonus and stands to make a base salary ofย $660,000 for the 2015 season.
This year, Bethel has appeared in 11 games and recorded 18 tackle, one interception, a fumble recovery and five pass defenses for the Cardinals.ย Pro Football Focus has Bethel rated as the No. 25 cornerback out of 113 qualifying players.
