According to Howard Balzer, the 49ers brought in free-agent DE Damontre Moore for a visit on Wednesday.
Moore, 27, is a former third-round pick of the Giants back in 2013. He lasted over two years in New York before he was waived and later claimed by the Dolphins.
Since then, Moore has played for the Raiders, Seahawks, and Cowboys and even had a stint in the AAF. He signed on with the 49ers back in April of last year and was on and off their roster from there.
Moore has been testing the open market as an unrestricted free agent since March.
In 2019, Moore appeared in two games for the 49ers and recorded five tackles, a forced fumble, and no sacks.
