Here’s the 49ers updated practice squad:

  5. DE Ryan Delaire

Ward, 27, was taken with the No. 30 overall pick back in 2014. He played out the final year of his four-year, $7.112 million contract when the 49ers picked up Ward‘s fifth-year option for the 2018 season.

Ward will make a salary of $8.526 million in 2018 before becoming an unrestricted free agent next year.

In 2018, Ward appeared in nine games and recorded 24 tackles, no interceptions, and a forced fumble recovery.

Igwebuike, 24, wound up signing on with the Buccaneers as an undrafted free agent out of Northwestern back in May. He agreed to a three-year, $1.71 mill contract but was waived by the Buccaneers coming out of the preseason.

The Buccaneers later signed Igwebuike to their practice squad before promoting him to their active roster a few weeks ago. Tampa Bay waived Igwebuike on Monday.

In 2018, Igwebuike appeared in one game and recorded one tackle for the Buccaneers.
