Fallon Smith is reporting that the 49ers plan to sign free agent TE Logan Paulsen to a contract.
Paulsen, 29, signed on with the Redskins as an undrafted free agent out of UCLA back in 2012. Washington re-signed him to a three-year deal in 2013.
Unfortunately for Paulsen, he was placed on season-ending injured reserve at the start of the 2015 season and subsequently missed the entire year with a toe injury. The Bears signed him to a one-year contract last year.
