The San Francisco 49ers officially DB Terrell Williams from injured reserve with a settlement on Tuesday.
Williams, 22, wound up signing on with the 49ers as an undrafted free agent out of Houston back in May. He signed a three-year $1.71 million contract and is set to make a base salary of $485,000 for the 2018 season.
The 49ers placed Williams on injured reserve last week with a hyperextended knee.
During his college career at Houston, Williams recorded 95 tackles, four interceptions, a fumble recovery and seven pass defenses over the course of 23 games.
