49ers Waive LB Jayson DiMache From I.R. With Settlement

The San Francisco 49ers waived LBย Jayson DiManche from injured reserve with a settlement on Monday, according to Matt Maiocco.

DiManche, 26, originally signed on with the Bengals as an undrafted free agent out ofย Southern Illinois back in 2013. He was waived/injured during the first round of roster cuts at the start of the 2015 season and eventually released from injured reserve with a settlement.

The Browns wound up signingย DiManche off of the Bengals practice squad during the 2015 season, but he later returned toย the Bengalsโ€™ practice squad and was brought back on a reserve/futureโ€™s contract.

DiManche was, unfortunately, waived from Cincinnati as they trimmed down to 75 players during the preseason last year. The 49ers elected to sign him to a contract this past April but waived him shortly after this year’s draft.

DiManche just returned to the 49ers a few weeks ago.

In 2015, DiManche appeared in one gameย but did not record a single statistic.
