49ers Worked Out 11 Players Including LB Michael Wilhoite

According to Howard Balzer, the San Francisco 49ers brought in 11 free agents for workouts this week, including LB Michael Wilhoite.

The full list of tryouts for the 49ers includes:

4. LS Tanner Carew
5. LS Jon Condo
6. LS Lucas Gravelle
7. LS Colin Holba
8. LS Taybor Pepper
9. WR Max McCaffrey
10. WR Jordan Smallwood
11. WR Jordan Veasy

Of this group, the 49ers signed McCaffrey and Adams to their practice squad.

Wilhoite, 31, wound up signing on with the 49ers as an undrafted free agent out of Washburn back in 2011. He eventually worked his way up to the 53-man roster during the 2012 season and played under one-year contracts for the next three seasons.

He signed a one-year deal with the Seahawks in March of last year and finished out the 2017 season on their active roster.

In 2017, Wilhoite appeared in 14 games for the Seahawks and recorded 30 total tackles, one interception, and one pass defense.
