Stephen Holder of the Tampa Bay Times tweets that there’s still a chance that the Buccaneers could trade RB LeGarrette Blount.
Holder adds that there are a “couple” of teams with interest in Blount and a trade could be completed at some point during the draft.
While the Buccaneers have been shopping Blount around the league for a few months now, it would still be surprising to see an NFL part with draft picks in return for a running back that has fallen out of favor in recent years. Blount is set to make $1.75 million for the upcoming season, but teams may want to see who’s available to them in the coming draft before deciding whether or not pursue a possible deal for Blount.
