- According to Armando Salguero, the NFL plans to conduct an investigation into the Dolphins’ handling of the Ryan Tannehill injury situation and how they listed the injury on their injury reports last week.
- The Dolphins announced that Tannehill is out for Week 7 and they will once again start Brock Osweiler at quarterback. (NFLTR)
- Regarding Tannehill, Dolphins HC Adam Gase said: “He just can’t throw.” (Cameron Wolfe)
- Gase added thatย it seems like an uphill challenge for Tannehill to turn around and be ready for their Thursday game against the Texans next week.
Jets
- Jets HC Toddย Bowles said Wednesday that they will kick the tires on free agent receivers with Quincy Enunwa out and Terrelle Pryor and Robby Anderson both dealing with injuries. (Connor Hughes)
