Bills
- Bills HC Sean McDermott announced that they’re sticking with Derek Anderson as their starting quarterback for Week 8’s game.
- Bills DE Trent Murphy is week-to-week with a knee injury. (Mike Rodak)

Dolphins
- Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that Dolphins WR Kenny Stills suffered a groin strain toward the end of Sunday’s game and is undergoing an MRI on Monday.
- As of now, Rapoport says there’s no word yet regarding Stills’ availability, but he admits this would be an “incredibly fast turnaround” for him to be able to play on Thursday.
- Interestingly enough, this should open the door for WR DeVante Parker to have a large role after being inactive the past few weeks.
- According to Dolphins HC Adam Gase, there’s a “high possibility” of WR Albert Wilson being placed on injured reserve. (Joe Schad)
- Gase mentioned that he isn’t bothered by the comments from Parker’s agent criticizing him and he expects Parker to play moving forward. (Armando Salguero)
- To no surprise, Gase confirmed that Brock Osweiler will start Thursday’s game against the Texans.
- Gase ruled out WRย Kenny Stills for Thursday’s game. (Joe Schad)
Jets
- Rich Cimini hears that the Jets had some interest in WR Amari Cooper, who was traded to the Cowboys on Monday.
- However, Cimini adds that he isn’t sure what, if anything, they offered the Raiders in return for Cooper.
- Jets signed WR J.J. Jones and C Jon Toth to their practice squad. (NFLTR)
Patriots
- Michael Giardi reports that Patriots TE Rob Gronkowski has been suffering from painful back spasms.
- According to Giardi, the Patriots spent a “considerable amount of time” focused on alleviating those issues leading up to Saturday. However, a team source believes Gronkowski’s back spasms are a short-term issue and it’s possible he could play on Monday.
