Raiders

  • Regarding the QBs coaching job, Gruden explained that they will proceed without a QBs coach for the time being, but it’s not a big deal, given that OC Greg Olson has previously coached the position. Gruden added that they could hire someone closer to the combine. (Scott Bair)
  • According to Gruden, CB Daryl Worley had successful surgery on his shoulder. (Scott Bair)
  • Matt Schneidman reports that Brenston Buckner will coach the DL for the Raiders after doing the same for Tampa Bay in 2018. Gruden says he wants former DL coach Mike Trgovac to remain in an advisory role working closer with him.

Texans

Texans S Justin Reid announced via his Instagram account that he’s undergoing wrist surgery.

“Thank you Houston for all your support and positivity throughout the year! You’ve made me feel at home here and I can’t wait to get back to work for you for next year. Sophomore campaign can’t come fast enough,” Reid writes.
