Broncos HC Vance Joseph said Tuesday that he’s “proud” of QB Paxton Lynch for coming out and competing in OTA practices.

โ€œIโ€™m proud of Paxton,” Joseph said, per Nicki Jhabvala. “Heโ€™s not relaxing. No relaxing. You guys got that? (laughs) Heโ€™s competing. He wants to be a great player.โ€

Chargers

  • Chargers QB Philip Rivers said Tuesday when asked about the possibility of the team re-signing TE Antonio Gates: โ€œIt would get my voteโ€ (NFLTR)
  • Chargers second-year WR Mike Williams spent today’s OTA practice on the sideline due to a “mild strain” to his hamstring. (Jack Wang)

Raiders

  • Raiders veteran RB Doug Martin has reportedly impressed the team’s coaching staff in OTA workouts with his burst. (Scott Bair)
  • Michael Gehlken mentions that it’s possible Martin could cut into Marshawn Lynch‘s workload this season if he can stay healthy.
