AFC West Notes: Chris Harris, Broncos, Chargers

Chris Harris

Broncos CB Chris Harris will not be in attendance for the start of voluntary offseason workouts next week. However, Harris maintains that he expects to have his best season. 

“I’m ready,’’ Harris tells Mike Klis of 9 News. “This is easily going to be my best year this year. These next three years, I’m about to go crazy. If they want me to be here, I’ll go crazy these next three years, I’ll guarantee it.’’

Broncos

• Ryan O’Halloran of the Denver Post notes that 10 of Broncos GM John Elway‘s 64 draft picks have come from the SEC, but only one of those (LB Shane Ray) was taken in the first three rounds. 
• The Broncos have done their homework on Washington LB Tevis Bartlett and Utah G Jordan Agasiva, though they have not scheduled them for top-30 visits, per O’Halloran.

Chargers

• The Chargers hosted Pace DE Prince Unaegbu for a private workout on Friday. (Aaron Wilson)
