Alabama RB Derrick Henry Entering 2016 NFL Draft

Joe Schad of ESPN reports that Alabama RBĀ Derrick Henry will enter the 2016 NFL draft.

This was largely expected, as there really wasn’t much more Henry could have done in college to improve his draft stock after winning theĀ Heisman Trophy and helping the Crimson Tide win the National Title.

Some draft experts have Henry as a mid-round pick in this year’s draft class, with Ohio State RBĀ Ezekiel Elliott being the best back available.

During his three years at Alabama, Henry ran for 3,591 yards on 602 carries (6 YPC) to go along with 17 receptions for 285 yards receiving and 45 total touchdowns over the course of 39 games.
