On Sunday, Alabama S Deionte Thompson announced via his Twitter account that he’s entering the 2019 NFL draft.

Thompson, (6-2, 199 lb), is considered to be one of, if not, the top safety prospects in this year’s draft class. He could end up being a first-round selection when all is said done.
During his college career at Alabama, Thompson recorded 112 tackles, three interceptions, three forced fumbles, a recovery and seven pass defenses over the course of 29 games and three seasons.
