Texans wide receiver Andre Johnson returned to practice Monday morning. Johnson, who has the missed the last nine days of training camp due to a groin injury, took about 20 reps in practice today.
“I thought he looked good,” said Texans head coach Gary Kubiak via a tweet from Stephanie Stradley of the Houston Chronicle.
After an injury plagued 2011 season, it’s good to see Johnson back on the field after tweaking his groin. The injury doesn’t appear to be serious as he was back practicing in just over a week. It is unclear whether or not Johnson will be ready to play for the Texans in their preseason opener this Saturday against the Panthers.
