Bears Officially Sign 2020 Draft Class

The Chicago Bears announced Tuesday that they’ve officially signed their entire 2020 draft picks. 

The remaining draft picks who were unsigned include fifth-round LB Trevis Gipson, fifth-round CB Kindle Vildor, fifth-round WR Darnell Mooney, and seventh-round G Arlington Hambright.

Gipson, 22, was a three-year starter at Tulsa before being selected by the Bears in the fifth round of the 2020 NFL Draft.

He is projected to sign a four-year rookie contract worth $3,620,670 that includes a signing bonus of $325,670

During his four-year career at Tulsa, Gipson started in 24 of his 49 games and recorded 114 tackles, 13 sacks, and 8 forced fumbles.

Vildor, 22, was a three-year starter at Georgia Southern and was named First-team All-Sun Belt before being selected by the Bears in the fifth round of the draft.

He is projected to sign a four-year rookie deal worth $3,605,670 that includes a signing bonus of $310,670.

During his four year career at Georgia Southern, Vildor appeared in 48 games and recorded 95 tackles, one sack, one forced fumble, 33 pass deflections, and nine interceptions.

Mooney, 22, was a four-year starter at Tulane and led the team in receiving before being selected by the Bears in the fifth round of the draft.

He is projected to sign a four-year rookie deal worth $3,577,050 that includes a signing bonus of $282,050.

During his four year career at Tulane, Mooney appeared in 46 games and had 154 receptions for 2,572 yards (16.7 YPC) and 19 touchdowns.
