The Chicago Bears officially placed rookie OT Badara Traore on the COVID-19 list on Saturday, per Albert Breer.
Adam Schefter reported earlier in the day that a practice squad player for the Bears tested positive, but Chicago has been closed since Thursday night, so the hope is that this is an isolated case.
The COVID-19 list was created this summer for a player who either tests positive for or who has been quarantined after having been in close contact with an infected person or persons.
Players will remain on the list until they are medically cleared to return.
Traore, 23, wound up going undrafted out of LSU back in April. He later agreed to a three-year, $2.28 million contract with the Bears, but was waived coming out of the preseason.
Chicago re-signed Traore to their practice squad after clearing waivers.
Traore has yet to appear in an NFL game.
