Bears Re-Sign OT Bradley Sowell To Two-Year Deal

The Chicago Bears announced Monday that they’ve re-signed OT Bradley Sowell to a two-year contract.

Sowell, 28, wound up signing on with the Buccaneers as an undrafted free agent out of Mississippi back in 2012. He lasted just a year in Tampa Bay before he was later signed off of their practice squad by the Colts.

Sowell had short stints with the Cardinals and Seahawks before he signed a one-year contract with the Bears last March.

In 2016, Sowell appeared in 10 games for the Seahawks and was rated by Pro Football Focus as the No. 74 offensive tackle out of 78 qualifying players.

In 2017, Sowell appeared in all 16 games for the Bears and played a total of 297 snaps.
