Brad Biggs of the Chicago Tribune reports that the Bears are expected to re-sign TE Daniel Brown.
Brown, 25, wound up signing on with the Ravens as an undrafted free agent out of James Madison back in 2015. He spent a year and a half in Baltimore before he was waived in 2016 and later claimed off of waivers by the Bears.
Chicago brought Brown back on a one-year contract last year, but declined to tender him a restricted offer earlier this week, making him an unrestricted free agent.
In 2017, Brown appeared in 14 games for the Bears and caught 13 passes for 129 yards receiving and no touchdowns.
