Bears Sign RB Kahlil Bell

Vaughn McClure of The Chicago Tribune reports that the Chicago Bears have signed free agent running back Kahlil Bell.

This signing comes just days after reports suggested that RB Matt Forte could be sidelined for at least a month. Forte is believed to have suffered a high-ankle sprain during Thursday’s game against the Packers.

Bell, who had been cut by the Bears back in August after he was unwilling to accept a paycut , will provide depth behind Michael Bush and Armando Allen. Chicago recently considered Steve Slaton before ultimately signing Bell.
