Bears Signing RB Mike Davis To Two-Year, $6M Deal

Ian Rapoport reports that Bears’ recently signed RB Mike Davis‘ contract is a two-year, $6 million deal that carries a max value $7 million. 


Ian Rapoport reports that the Bears are signing former Seahawks RB Mike Davis to a contract. 

Davis, 26, was taken in the fourth round of the 2015 NFL draft by the 49ers. The Seahawks claimed him off of waivers from the 49ers but he was among their final roster cuts coming out of the next preseason.

Seattle later added Davis to their practice squad and eventually promoted him to their active roster during the 2017 season and re-signed to a one-year contract. 

In 2018, Davis appeared in 15 games for the Seahawks and recorded 514 rushing yards on 112 rushing attempts (4.6 YPC) and scored four touchdowns to go along with 34 receptions for 214 yards receiving and scored one touchdown.
