Houston Texans head coach Gary Kubiak announced that Ben Tate will be the teams starting running back until Arian Foster is fully healed.
“He’s playing really well,” Kubiak said. “Ben’s probably going to carry most of the load right now.”
Tate has looked incredible in the teams first two games of the season tallying 251 all purpose yards despite sharing the work load with both Derrick Ward and Arian Foster.
This is certainly a good move for the Texans as they’ll end up needing a healthy Foster at some point in the season and Tate should have no trouble carrying the workload for the time being.
