The Cincinnati Bengals announced on Thursday that WR Andrew Hawkins has been activated from the IR/recall list.
- The Bengals also signed DE DeQuin Evans signed to their practice squad.
Hawkins, 27, was placed on injured reserve with the designation to return after he suffered an ankle injury at the start of the regular season.
Hawkins will likely take over as the team’s slot receiver at some point in the near future. The Bengals have managed to move the ball through the air quite well in recent weeks, so a healthy Hawkins could really make it tough on opposing defenses to match up with the Bengals receiving options.
