Bengals Claim WR Chris Brown Off Waivers From Cowboys

Field Yates of ESPN reports that the Bengals have claimed WR Chris Brown off of waivers from the Cowboys on Wednesday.

Brown, 23, wound up going undrafted back in May of last year out of Notre Dame. He signed a three-year, $1.62 million contract with the Cowboys a few days later.

Unfortunately, Brown suffered a broken foot in during the preseason and later waived with an injury designation. After clearing waivers, Brown reverted to the team’s injured reserve list.

Dallas elected to place Brown on waivers Tuesday.

During his college career, Brown totaled 104 receptions for 1,410 yards receiving and six touchdowns.
