ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that the Cincinnati Bengals have re-signed RB Cedric Benson to a one-year deal.
Cincinnati had Benson listed as a priority before free agency started but he since then he was involved in another legal incident which likely impacted his options.
The Bengals need playmakers if Andy Dalton is going to have any chance of winning games in 2011 but the real question will be whether or not Benson will be as good as he’s been in previous years.
