Rocky Boiman reports that the Bengals are expected to bring in free agent RT Andre Smith for a visit at some point in the next 24 hours.
- Jim Owczarski has confirmed that Smith will, in fact, meet with his old team.
Smith recently visited with the Bills, but left Buffalo without an agreement in place.
Smith, 30, is a former first-round pick of the Bengals back in 2009. After seven years in Cincinnati, Smith signed a one-year, $3.5 million contract with the Vikings back in March of last year, which included $1 million guaranteed and another $1 million available through incentives.
Unfortunately, Smith’s season ended with him being placed on season-ending injured reserve. He’s once again testing the open market as an offensive tackle.
In 2016, Smith appeared in four games for the Vikings.
