The Cincinnati Bengals have placed CB William Jackson on injured reserve and promoted WR Trenton Irwin and TE Jordan Franks to their active roster.
Jackson, 26, is a former first-round pick of the Bengals back in 2016. He’s currently in the final year of his four-year, $9.7 million contract and made a base salary of $1.77 million for the 2019 season.
Last year, the Bengals picked up Jackson’s fifth option that will pay him $9,954,000 for the 2020 season.
In 2019, Jackson appeared in 14 games for the Bengals and recorded 37 tackles, one interception and 13 passed defended.
