Pelissero adds Tate is expected to have shoulder surgery sometime in the next few weeks.

Tate is also currently on the COVID-19 list.

Tate, 23, is a former seventh-round pick of the Bengals out of Florida State back in 2018. He’s currently in the third year of his four-year, $2,529,072 contract with Cincinnati.

In 2020, Tate has appeared in eight games for the Bengals and caught 14 passes for 150 yards receiving and no touchdowns.
