Bills Re-sign DT Kyle Williams To A Six-Year Deal

Jason La Canfora of NFL.com reports that the Bills have in fact signed DT Kyle Williams to a six-year deal worth $39 million and includes $17 million in guaranteed money.

Great move the Bills as they’ll now have a formidable interior defensive with Williams and Marcell Dareus manning the middle.

NFL.com’s Jason La Canfora tweets that the Buffalo Bills could have a deal in place with DT Kyle Williams as soon as next week. La Canfora adds that the Bills next target will be WR Steve Johnson.

Keeping Williams, who will be a free agent following the 2012 season, would be a huge a step towards improving their terrible run defense as they have also added Marcell Dareus in this years draft.

As for Steve Johnson, he has quickly become their best receiver and the main reason why they sent Lee Evans to the Ravens. Johnson is set to become a free agent at the end of the season so they would be smart to lock him up now rather than competing for him on the open market. We saw how that played out with that played out for them when they lost Paul Posluszny to the Jaguars.
