Bills Place DT Harrison Phillips On IR, Promote DT Kyle Peko

The Buffalo Bills announced Tuesday that they’ve placed DT Harrison Phillips on injured reserve and promoted DT Kyle Peko to their active roster.

  • The Bills also signed LB Nate Hall to their practice squad and released LB Curtis Akins from the unit.

Here’s the Bills updated practice squad:

  1. WR Duke Williams
  2. CB Cam Lewis
  3. OL Erik Magnuson
  4. DE Eddie Yarbrough
  5. RB Christian Wade (International)
  6. DT Kyle Peko
  7. TE Nate Becker
  8. QB Davis Webb
  9. RB Byron Marshall
  10. DT Vincent Taylor
  11. LB Nate Hall

Phillips, unfortunately, suffered a season-ending ACL tear in Week 3, so this move was expected.

Phillips, 23, is a former third-round pick of the Bills back in 2018. He’s currently in the second year of his four-year, $3,235,040 rookie contract and stands to make base salaries of $570,000 and $660,000 over the next two years of the agreement.

In 2019, Phillips appeared in three games for the Bills and recorded three tackles, a half sack and two pass defenses.
