According to Adam Schefter, Bills RBย LeSean McCoy is dealing with cracked rib cartilage and is questionable for their Week 3 matchup with the Vikings.
Schefter says thatย McCoy should not miss more than one gameย if that. McCoy has previously dealt with this injury and isn’tย expected to sideline very long.
The concern earlier this morning was that McCoy fractured his ribs, but it sounds like the injury turned out to not be as bad as initially feared.
McCoy, 29, is a former second-round pick of the Eagles back in 2009. After six years in Philadelphia, McCoy was traded to the Bills, who later signed him to a five-year, $40 million contract that included $20 million guaranteed.
McCoy stands to make base salaries of $6 million and $6.075 million over the next two years of the agreement.
In 2018, McCoy has appeared in two games for the Bills and rushed for 61 yards on 16 carries (3.8 YPC) to go along with five receptions for 28 yards receiving and no touchdowns.
We’ll have more regarding McCoy as the news is available.
