Bills Sign OL Chris Martin To Practice Squad, Cut CB Doran Grant

The Buffalo Bills are signing OL Chris Martin to their practice squad on Monday, according to his agent Brett Tessler.

The Bills have confirmed the signing and announced that they’ve waived CB Doran Grant to make room for Martin.

Buffalo’s practice squad currently consists of:

  1. WR Dezmin Lewis
  2. DB Marcus Roberson
  3. LB Carlos Fields
  4. TE Gerald Christian
  5. DT Deandre Coleman
  6. OL Chris Martin
  7. WR Matt Hazel
  8. C Gabe Ikard
  9. LB Max Valles
  10. DB Damian Parms

Martin, 26, originally signed on with the Texans as an undrafted free agent out of UCF back in May of last year. Unfortunately, Martin lasted just a few weeks in Houston before he was cut loose.

Since then, Martin has played for a number of teams including the Patriots, Texans, 49ers, Dolphins, and Bills before signing on to the Dolphins’ practice squad midseason.

Miami cut Martin loose just a few days later and didn’t bring him back on a future/reserve contract after the season.

Martin has yet to appear in an NFL game.
