Indications have been that Marshall was going to sign with a team at some point in the near future and the fact that the Seahawks recently brought him in for a visit made it clear that they were the team to watch.

Marshall, 34, is a former fourth-round pick by the Broncos in the 2009 NFL Draft. After four years in Denver, he was traded to the Dolphins in 2010. Marshall’s time in Miami was limited to just two season before he was once again traded, this time to the Bears in return for two third-round picks.

In total, Marshall spent three seasons with the Bears, but was traded for a third time to the Jets in March of 2015. Marshall was in the final year of his contract when the Jets released him last offseason and he later signed a two-year, $12 million with the Giants.

However, the Giants released him back in April.

In 2017, Marshall appeared in five games and caught 18 passes for 154 yards receiving and no touchdowns for the Giants before he was placed on injured reserve.

We had him featured in our Top 50 Available 2018 NFL Free Agents list.
