Broncos Claim DL Jonathan Harris Off Waivers From Bears

The Denver Broncos have claimed DL Jonathan Harris off waivers from the Bears on Wednesday, according to Tom Pelissero

Harris, 23, signed on with the Bears as an undrafted free agent out of Lindenwood back in May. He was among Chicago’s final roster cuts coming out of the preseason and signed to their practice squad after passing through waivers unclaimed.

Harris was promoted to the active roster a few weeks ago before being waived on Tuesday.

In 2019, Harris has appeared in two games for the Bears and recorded one tackle and no sacks.

During his four-year college career at Lindenwood, Harris appeared in 43 games and recorded 183 total tackles, 38.5 tackles for loss, 22 sacks, four forced fumbles, one interception, and one fumble recovery.
