Update:
Mike Klis of 9 News reports that free agent RB Theo Riddick has left his Broncos visit without a contract.
Earlier in the day, Herbie Teope mentioned that Riddick could take some more visits before deciding on his next team, as he plans to take his time with any decision.
According to Adam Schefter, the Broncos are hosting free agent RB Theo Riddick for a visit Monday.
Riddick visited Sunday with the Saints following his release from the Lions that day. He’s a capable receiving back, with more catches than carries in three of his six NFL seasons.
Riddick, 28, is a former sixth-round pick of the Lions back in 2013. He was in the third year of his four-year, $12.3 million contract and set to make base salaries of $2.7 million and $3.2 million over the final two years of the agreement when the Lions released him on Saturday.
In 2018, Riddick appeared in 14 games for the Lions and rushed for 171 yards on 40 carries (4.3 YPC) to go along with 61 receptions for 384 yards receiving and no touchdowns.
