The Denver Broncos officially activated LB Austin Calitro from injured reserve and placed TE Andrew Beck on injured reserve list Saturday.
The Broncos also promoted WR Fred Brown and C Patrick Morris and signed RB Jeremy Cox to their active roster.
Brown and Morris will revert back to the Broncos’ practice squad on Monday without having to clear waivers.
It’s worth mentioning that the NFL changed the rules regarding injured reserve for the 2020 season and players can return from the list in just three weeks.
Beck, 24, signed with the Patriots as an undrafted free agent out of Texas last year. He was waived coming out of the preseason and claimed off waivers by the Broncos.
In 2019, Beck appeared in all 16 games for the Broncos and caught nines passes for 90 yards and a touchdown. He also carried the ball once for three yards.
This season, Beck has been active for five games, but has yet to catch a pass.
