According to Jason La Canfora of CBSSports.com, both the Broncos and Ravens are monitoring free agent DE Antwan Odom, should he prove to be healthy enough to help their respective defensive lines.
“He will be ready to go in July,” said Odom’s agent. “He’s starting to get into the full mode now.”
Odom, still only 30, hasn’t played in an NFL game since 2010, as he’s been recovering from a wrist surgery that has set him back much longer than expected. Injuries have taken a toll on his career in the NFL, but when he’s stayed healthy for a good portion of the season, he’s managed to put together some reasonable sack totals. At this point, it’s hard to imagine him being an effective player for either team, but I guess it’s possible.
