According to Ian Rapoport, the Broncos believe RB Phillip Lindsay will miss 2-4 weeks with his toe sprain.
That leaves Lindsay out for today’s game against the Steelers and likely next week against the Buccaneers. After that, it’s possible he could return.
Lindsay, 26, wound up signing on with the Broncos as an undrafted free agent out of Colorado in 2018. He agreed to a three-year, $1.71 million contract and managed to make the 53-man roster coming out of the preseason.
In 2020, Lindsay has appeared in one game for the Broncos and rushed seven times for 24 yards while adding one catch for 11 yards.
