Spencer, 28, signed with the Rams as an undrafted free agent out of McNeese State in 2014. He was waived by the Rams in June, however.
After spending the next five seasons in the CFL, Spencer signed a futures deal with the Steelers in 2019. Pittsburgh waived him coming out of the preseason and he was claimed by the Broncos.
In 2019, Spencer appeared in all 16 games for the Broncos and caught six passes for 31 yards. He also rushed three times for six yards and recorded 436 yards on kickoff returns and 208 yards on punt returns.
