Broncos Signing LB Danny Mason

According to Adam Caplan, the Broncos are signing free agent LB Danny Mason to a contract.

  • The Broncos released TE Henry Krieger-Coble in a corresponding roster move.

Mason, 26, originally signed a future/reserve contract with the Broncos back in May of 2015. He was unfortunately placed on waivers coming out of the preseason, but was later added to the team’s practice squad.

The Bears later signed him to their practice squad midseason before bringing him back on a future/reserve contract. Chicago elected to cut him loose a few weeks after the 2016 NFL Draft but re-signed him to a one-year contract after the starting of training camp.

Mason has yet to appear in an NFL game.Krieger-Coble

Krieger-Coble, 25, signed on with the Broncos as an undrafted free agent out of Iowa back in May of last year. Denver eventually signed him to their practice squad and promoted him to their active roster.

In 2016, Krieger-Coble appeared in one game for the Broncos and recorded one reception for 13 yards.
