According to Mike Klis, the Broncos have placed CB Craig Mager on waivers.
Klis says that Mager had not been in attendance for the Broncos’ offseason program because of a personal issue.
Mager, 26, is a former third-round pick by the Chargers in the 2015 NFL Draft. He was waived coming out of the preseason in 2017 and quickly signed him to their practice squad.
Los Angeles promoted Mager to their active roster towards the end of the 2017 season. However, he was placed on injured reserve a few weeks into the 2018 season and later waived with an injury settlement.
From there, Mager signed on with the Broncos last December.
In 2017, Mager appeared in two games for the Chargers but did not record a statistic.
