The Denver Broncos officially placed OT Andreas Knappe on waivers Monday.
Knappe, 27, originally signed a three-year, $1.66 million contract with the Falcons as an undrafted free agent out of Connecticut back in 2017. He was set to make base salaries of $465,000 and $555,000 over the first two years of the contract when the Falcons cut him loose coming out of the preseason.
Knappe had brief stints with the Redskins and Colts before the Broncos signed to a futures contract last year. He was waived at the start of the season and eventually returned to Denver on another futures contract.
Knappe has yet to appear in an NFL game.
